Remember the
last time something really great happened to you?
How long did
you wait in anticipation for that really great thing to happen?
No matter, just
think about this for a moment: What would have happened if you
had given up on achieving or receiving this really great thing
the day before it happened?
I'm reminded
of the "unlucky" gardener who planted what he thought
would be a bounty of fruit and vegetables but kept going back
every other day to dig up the seeds to see if they'd sprouted
yet!
What I'm getting
at here is the need for patience, which simply means having enough
faith in yourself and in the natural course of things in this
world to let them work.
If you've been
working hard for something, and you've done everything you can
to cause it to happen, you've done your part. Now, get out of
the way. Let it happen.
Then act surprised
when it turns out exactly how you expected.
